Heck, it still hasn't got clear of that. AEW today is acting responsible... and whatever happens to Ricochet is the result of that. You can say MJF got away with so much. But I'll point out that MJF today doesn't try to do the things that he did years ago. So yea. MJF got away with so much... in the old AEW... and today he couldn't either, and Ricochet likely won't. According to VC, Rey Mysterio might be trying to avoid WrestleMania 42 because somewhere in his heart, he wants to retire by losing to his son Dominik Mysterio, not someone else. BodySlam reported that WWE wanted Rey Mysterio to face Gunther at WrestleMania, and Triple H has a track record of booking legends to retire by losing to Gunther in WWE. So, it seems like Rey Mysterio has taken an injury break to not just recover but also avoid any possibility of getting his WWE Career ended at the hands of Gunther. Makes sense. The only person who deserves to retire Rey Mysterio is his son Dominik Mysterio. If I was Rey, I'd probably do the same thing.

DARBY ALLIN WINS THE COFFIN MATCH AND CALLS OUT MJF FOR THE AEW WORLD TITLE! The match starts as Darby Allin and Gabe Kidd brawled in the parking lot outside of the arena. Darby shoved Gabe into the trunk of a car and flipped it with both of them in in. Darby pushes Gabe into the arena on a travel case. Darby gets Gabe Kidd into a straight jacket, Gabe comes to and starts fighting back and the match gets underway. They brawl back and forth until Darby rallies and is able to get Kidd into the coffin with a dive to the outside of the ring.
