@_capyyara_ Girl you’re the one who called me miserable and stupid like??? You dont even make sense
English

@_xcviii8 Then why are you even quote tweeting on a topic you don't care about 💀. Really if you don't care, don't talk about it. Like I said, you're on the wrong side of Twitter hun
English

Well how about you put that energy into actually supporting these real women in motorsports instead of putting down the wags ❤️ maybe then they will get the attention you claim they need
juls²³ 💋@albonlyone
the REAL women in motorsports are the drivers, the journalists, the team principals, the ENGINEERS, the women behind doors, those who WORKED their asses up to finally end in categories mostly dominated by MEN. wags are not those women.
English

@_capyyara_ But I dont care about any women in motorsports be it an engineer or a wag… im just pointing out the unproportionate amount of hate wags get with the attention women engineers or “professions that matter” get from the same people hating on the wags❤️ hope that helps
English

@_xcviii8 That's my point. You claim you care so much but I don't see you do anything about it. Scroll through my account and you see more about non wags than wags (sifted between the non f1 posts). There's a whole group out there supporting these women
English

@_xcviii8 Out of touch? Did the wag help football visibility? No it did not. It only helped her own image, not that of the sport, same goes for F1 but I'm supposed to be out of touch?
English

@_capyyara_ Girl I dont care about them, I dont even care about the wags. Im just saying why they get more attention than engineers etc. and why they get more media coverage.
English

@_xcviii8 Oh and LinkedIn is literally the platform where there are so many women in motorsports. Support them there, show them that they matter, help them feel comfortable in their space which will allow them to be more in the spotlight on other platforms
English

@_capyyara_ That’s literally not true, Alexandra got attention because of her look which was appealing to young girls on tiktok, thus her fame. If that was the case as you say it, women engineers would have much bigger following than wags. Why are you contradicting yourself
English

@_xcviii8 You think a 12 year old is going to watch f1 because of a wag?😂 At that age they don't care about wags, they care about cool women who actually do something and cars doing weird things, not a model looking pretty for the camera
English

@_capyyara_ Do you have comprehension issues because I clearly stated numerous times that you SHOULD give attention to actual women in motorsports. Twitter spends more time hating wags then giving a platform to “actual women in motorsports” thats my whole point❤️
English

@_xcviii8 Follow women in motorsports, talk about their achievements, retweet stories about them. You keep saying I am hating on wags yet I keep saying I don't care about them. In the meantime you are saying we should not give attention to actual women in motorsports
English

@_capyyara_ Omg, the term “Wag” was literally invented after a football wag… the most famous “wag”is a footballer’s wife. You are too out of touch. And why is it F1’s job as a brand to inspire girls to get into motorsports? Thats all nice in theory, but marketing and pr is about money
English

@_xcviii8 Yes, these women need the same amount of media coverage, especially as it's a sport. With football they don't display the wags as well and they do display team personell? What's so backwards about that? Don't you want to inspire young girls to get into motorsports?
English

@_capyyara_ I dont care to uplift them, im just stating the obvious. You think some 12 year old who got into f1 because they saw a wag on tiktok (there are many like that) has linkedin?? Do you realise who these wags appeal to
English

@_xcviii8 They care about social media. However, nobody is going to hire them based on just their Instagram. Yes engineers in F1 often have public accounts, uplift them there, but don't come for us saying we don't support them just because we don't do it on conventional social media
English

@_capyyara_ “I dont do shit” what exactly am I supposed to do? It is logical that brands are going to give more media exposure to those who get more attention. My point is that you guys by hating on these women, are giving them attention. And what does linkedin have to do with anything?
English

@_xcviii8 You were discrediting women who actually do something in motorsports and saying we don't give them attention. In the meantime you're the one who doesn't do shit, so why are you attacking people who do? You know that LinkedIn is still social media?
English

@_xcviii8 She's actively working on climbing up the ladder, however, who would follow an engineer in a way minor category compared to f1? Who is going to follow a private account on Instagram? Try going on LinkedIn and follow these women there, that is more effective than Instagram
English

@_capyyara_ Have you also ever thought that an actual engineer doesnt card about this media attention? Like maybe some people just want to stick to their job.
English

@_xcviii8 but when we see wags as women in motorsports instead of these brilliant engineers, what message does that convey to all those little girls?
English

@_capyyara_ Thats literally all there is to it. They bring attention and money but the irony is people like you boost them the most while claiming they overshadow others. If you actually care about women in motorsport, give them that same energy.
English

@_capyyara_ Idk why you cant grasp the concept of pr and marketing. It is a fact that wags are getting more attention, whether it is positive or negative. Attention=money which is why they keep pushing them. They are a part of the media ecosystem and they are good at it.
English

@albonlyone Literally the reason why they are promoted so heavily is because people like you wont stop talking about them, it is marketing, the more attention they get the more money they make for the sport. People clearly care for them even more than the drivers atp
English

@_capyyara_ In motorsports. And if you admit they drive attention, then stop acting like they’re overshadowing others, the same people complaining are the ones giving them the most engagement.
English

@_capyyara_ Girl wags are a market but everyone knows that doesn’t make them “women in motorsport.”They’re influencers in the sport’s orbit, not part of the profession itself. They still generated a lot of money and attention to the sport so its not crazy that they associate them as women +
English

@_capyyara_ There is literally an outrage about a dinner, how is that not hating? And who is putting down women in motorsports, everyone is aware that these are women with degrees careers in their respective fields, do you think they care enough about these clearly PR dinners?
English

@_xcviii8 Oh and where am I hating on wags? Let them do what they want, I don't care, but don't put down women who worked extremely hard to get into motorsports just so that wags get a podium as a woman in motorsports. The only wag who actually fits that title is lily zneimer
English

The day you understand marketing & PR and that wags are all influencers, visibility is their job. Women in motorsport are qualified professionals, not fighting for dinner invites. you spend more time picking apart wags than actually supporting the women you claim to care about.
s🐆@byshaaaaaa
the day f1 genuinely starts valuing women for their expertise instead of their proximity to drivers will be the day the sport truly grows up.
