Saw this tweet a while back and decided to do it. I recently built tingsss.live to have a place to show all the random pictures I take with my phone(it was actually to learn about how image management works on websites. I found out about AWS s3 buckets and CDNs.

If you're a new dev. I give you this challenge. Build a simple CRUD app (framework of your choice). Make sure you implement auth (no 3rd party) and file uploads (use your local Filesystem). Get a cheap vps. Harden it. Deploy both your application and it's database to the same server. Buy a domain name and point it at it. Trust me. If you are able to do this successfully, you'll be able to build anything you ever wanted.
