@_yanssii Its a pretty realistic showing of someone being drawn back to service. Shin especially suffers from a load of survivors guilt, and outside of combat his percieved purpose as the reaper is gone. Theres a lot of reasons why the battlefield calls, but it was a good representation

@_yanssii I feel theo reclusively drawing away is a defense mechanism of being in an uncomfortable enviroment going back to the same thing he did to find comfort on the battlefield (drawing). Shin i would also say is mostly also doing the same by reading.

@mrownersan They’re all the same age too, Kurena is a year younger and Theo is actually the oldest. But ofc age doesn’t have to be an indicator

@_yanssii The other real sad telling of this is how only the older kids interact with any of the civilians (raiden, anju, shin) while Theo and Kurena are so warped by the war they have very minimum interactions with anyone during those peacefull months.

They could’ve put two and two together and guessed it was a pyrope blueprint since they didn’t mention the Maika by name
