Some founders I've spoken with in recent months (+ some crypto VCs) are concerned about what the hyperfocus on memecoins from Base (+ Solana) is doing to the industry at large. Did memecoins spur a retail run this year? No. Are memecoins a net-negative for crypto? Possibly.
