My brilliant, beautiful, gentle, incisive, kind and loving mother Ellen Dryden, actress, writer and director, died in the early hours of this morning, aged 83. Lucy and I are heartbroken, but also glad her suffering is over and so grateful and proud to be her children.

This weekend I’m back at The Palace. Go out for food in between and end up bumping into a host of undesirables whilst walking around Covent Garden!! An impromptu @CursedChildLDN reunion. This picture only partially captures my heart’s joy.
