Now advocates are pushing him to open permanent residency to ALL temporary workers. There are currently 4 million temporary residents in Canada. Over 2 million permits expired in 2025. 1.9 million more expire this year. He already quietly launched a program to convert 33,000 of them to permanent residents. Without announcing it. A group in Brampton keeps trying to put out these PSA’s to change the attitude of the residents who live in the City who treat Canada like a garbage dump. Think of what this City will look like in another 10 years if they can’t keep up with the endless littering and illegal dumping right now.
