My first reaction seeing Rapi a tier below Anis and Neon here was "no, she's just as strong as them, don't be contrarian just to be contrarian." But the more I think about it, Rapi has actually kinda has fallen a little bit behind. Anis' armor has bumped her to nearly Lilith's level of power. Pretty's specs were on about that level herself. And Neon's body is immune to the most dangerous things in this universe at the moment, let alone the power bump she got. Rapi's got Red Hood's power+her own, plus Seven Dwarves Zero, which is all really, REALLY strong. But Anis and Neon's abilities are just.. on another level, while Rapi's is kinda just a straightforward massive raw strength deal. Now, you might think I'm disappointed by that. Rapi's my favorite member of Counters, after all. But my commander in goddess, let me clue you in on something I've been saying since *Boom the Ghost.* Rapi's not done. She has not completed her arc. I mean look at her. She's just *barely* come into her confidence, and the most she's really changed is that she isn't afraid to make her intrusive thoughts into words. Anis and Neon? They're good. After this, we will know literally everything we need to know about them. Anis has moved past her cynicism for the Ark, and Neon now has full access to her memories. The biggest setups about them are paid off after Star Anis. They've come into their own, they're self-realized heroines ready to take down the Queen. But Rapi's rough edges are still plain to see. While Anis and Neon have walked their path of self-actualization and come out at the end with their full potential, Rapi just barely started walking hers. And if you think I'm full of it and coping, ask yourself this: Anis is getting a whole anniversary event basically to herself. Bells and whistles, two (FANTASTIC) gacha skins, a permanent minigame, *four* new vocal tracks, if not more, a full side story, and so on. And Anis, if you'll recall, is *not* the main heroine nor face girl of the game. She's a main cast member, and 100% deserving of the love this event is giving her. But shiftup is *still* rocking Rapi's face for a pfp. Rapi's only focus event has been Footstep, Walk, Run. An awesome event, for sure. But it was a NY event, just a story event like the other smaller ones throughout the year. ..do you *really think* Shiftup is just gonna leave Rapi where she's at? Both Character-wise and Power level wise? I don't. It's funny, the most recent spark I had in regards to the 'Rapi isn't finished cooking yet' idea was during the livestream for Star Anis. Rapi expresses that she was so excited by Anis' performance, she wanted to try it too. Which segues into her idol skin reveal. But that got my mind bouncing about in a funny manner regarding Rapi, and where her character will go from here. A dear friend of mine knows and can attest: I am *very* good at predicting this game's next move. So you wanna know my vague prediction for Rapi's next steps? Red Hood never wanted Rapi to *be* her. Even Rapi knows that. So Rapi is going to be interested in trying every new thing she can, taking the assertiveness granted to her by her mentor, and trying to forge herself to shine like her squadmates and commander. I don't have the details in my brain, of course, I'll leave that to shiftup- but I'm fairly confident this is where Rapi's character is headed. And this will lead into another form of Rapi down the line, an upgrade even further than Red Hood, and a Anniversary event, sequel to Footstep, Walk, Run, with the title- "Walk, Run, Fly"
