Caltech's @CaltechCsspp is helping organize an interesting workshop next week that is bringing policymakers, climate scientists, and social scientists together to discuss water quality. A lot of the debate about water (especially out in the American Southwest) revolves around water rights, storage, and access - this workshop's goal is to raise awareness in the research community about what policymakers need from the scientists with regards to how we measure the quality of our critical water supplies.
