A special Grand Day Out at Living Legends this week 🌟
We were delighted to welcome Hong Kong Jockey Club Executive Manager of Broadcasting, Ken Chan, and family for a memorable visit filled with Devonshire tea, gourmet lunch and unforgettable moments with our legends.
Ken and family spent time with HKJC superstars Pakistan Star, Silent Witness, Bullish Luck and Good Ba Ba, while also catching up with Australian favourites Apache Cat and Brew. A wonderful day celebrating the horses that continue to connect racing fans across the world 🐎

Perhaps I should be more ambitious with my life but I have reached the spot in life I want to stay in till it all ends. I get to travel the world with amazing Japanese horses helping them win big races and get to make amazing friends everywhere I go. I want to keep doing this till my wheels fall off. I’ve got more amazing friends now than I’ve ever had in my entire life. They are scattered but so are my travel plans. Japan, Hong Kong, Louisville, Lexington, New York, Dubai, Riyadh, Los Angeles and San Diego… friends in all corners I can’t wait to see again. I don’t want any executive rolls or cushy desk jobs. I want to be going to the barn and helping the horsemen achieve their dreams. Then send them home and go to lunch with my many local friends before going back to snuggle with my cats in Japan. It is literally my ideal existence. 😌 I’ll never be rich but I’ll die happy.

Here is a sequence of images from @_RYUSEI_0531 bowing to the @ChurchillDowns Crowd. It was funny the TV Crew was yelling at him to hurry up and bring the horse back, not knowing the traditional respect the Japanese jockeys show the crowd and fans. We still have much to learn. We need to do a better job of presenting the horses to the fans. #テーオーエルビス

The saver camera became the main remote camera when Golden Tempo came storming down the center of the track. I do a lot of studying the races, replays, track profiles, and projected pace. I try to prepare so much so that In the moment I can just work of what I "feel" is going to happen. Sometimes you get it right, sometimes you get it wrong. At the last second I shifted a camera out really wide, and called it my "Sha Tin Cam"
I just wish there wasn't the person in neon in the back 😂😂

At Royal Ascot there are multiple races with field sizes approaching 30 I think American racing should be able to handle at least one over 14

My hot take for the Kentucky Derby. With the smaller foal population, tighter vet scrutiny, The Kentucky Derby should be limited to 14 Starters.
