It WARMS MY HEART to see the feed flooded with pro-Jesus posts today. It has been DECADES since I have seen people proclaim their faith in Christ so freely. Yes, it is Easter, so Jesus-posting is more expected. But our culture has become so suppressive of Christianity that I'm shocked to see such copious, beautiful faith-filled posts.

Jesus was almost definitely a real person and nearly every credible secular and atheist historian agrees on this.

@makrabin7 @tanuzou1027 Yes, we outlawed the actual slaughtering here in the US but thousands of horses get sent to other countries for slaughter yearly unbeknownst to most Americans. I happen to know this because I love horses. I saved a horse from going to Mexico for slaughter. This is her.

This is confirmed inside the Bible & outside the Bible (Letter from Roman Governor Pliny The Younger, confirming worship by early Christian of Jesus, 112 AD) (Tacitus, a Roman Senator, references the execution of “Christus” underneath Pontius Pilate (man who ordered the execution at the time) (Josephus, a Jewish Historian, references Jesus 2x, around 90AD in his writings) 7. After Jesus appeared to the Apostles, they immediately started preaching the good news Jerusalem Jerusalem is the city where Christ was crucified, just days before. (Acts 1-2) 8. Jesus’ half brother, James, thought Jesus was crazy during Jesus’ ministry (when Jesus was going around preaching) (Mark 3:20- “When His family heard it, they went out to seize Him, for they were saying, ‘He is out of His mind.’”) James ultimately is killed for his faith in Christ years later. Something happened to change his mind- He Is Risen!

The Acts of the Disciples is the whole reason why I’m a Christian. Not even the historical evidence of the Resurrection. All 12 of them died horrible deaths. No one dies for a prank. They saw the Son of God perform miracles, get crucified, and rise from the dead. Incredible.

@makrabin7 @tanuzou1027 Horses end up at auctions through no fault of their own, then get purchased by "kill buyers" who send them at profit to slaughter in Mexico for their meat. It is a huge, terrible industry.

I rewatched Passion of the Christ yesterday. It feels like a Divinely inspired film. I cried 3 times. He is risen!!!! He conquered death!
