Like to eat rice? Curious about how it’s grown? Well, Texas is one of the six states known for rice production. And September is #NationalRiceMonth! Farmers faced several challenges with this year’s crop. The spring was exceptionally wet, which delayed planting for some. And the rice crop was unfortunately damaged by Hurricane Beryl. Each of the fields were impacted differently, but yields are lower.
