Medics are using normal saline to disinfect the skin before injection because surgical spirit is not available.
Surgical spirit 500ML is 161 shillings.

Saa hizi hospitali ziko on their deathbeds. I've worked in the private sector. Gloves box moja hukuwa around 120 to 200 ikienda sana. Nashangaa sana kusikia a county hospital inashare box moja ya gloves.

Those 3 North Eastern counties have received over 500B since 2013, interesting part is that there's no single MRI machine in public hospitals. Patients hukuja hadi Nairobi to get the service. Meanwhile their leaders are busy building flats in Eastleigh.

Orthopedic Surgery waiting list ni 6 months ... Basically uko kwa wheelchair for 6 months... By the time unafikiwa mguu ilishikana kombo you cant walk again without crutches/ stick na ivo ndio umeloose job yako

@Honeyfarsafi This mess is in all our Public hospital. Patients awaiting orthopedic surgery at Nakuru PGH are waiting for 4-5 months, the successful ones are waiting for 1-2 months for a review. I observed that over 30% of deaths in our health Facilities are preventable and it's devastating
