@potatoes_with @RetroManAnim Yeah that was my problem with the pliot, the voices, they need to be more energetic/more character, this redub fixes some of the problems and made it a lot more bearable to hear

So I posted about Chimptopia a short while ago, and I figured I'd add on to it by giving an example of how I'd personally voice and design the sound for this scene.
Once again, this is personally how I would do it and perhaps this wasn't Robert's creative vision.

They are like image comics, using it as a mask yet act like a regular company, but just calling themselves indie

@GuardyGuard2772 @ToonHive There's a lot of issues with gameoverse, like the plot and such (explained it here) but yeah, this show is trying to improve, we gotta remember they aren't being funded by a multimillion-dollar company like glitch, this is fully funded by regular people (true indie)

@BlakeAl0 @TheSlayer39 @ToonHive The first episode is literally based around it, had a beach episode as the pilot, literally fans service, the plot and pacing of the show was just bad everything just went by too fast without explain and building up the world/characters, and the voice acting is a mixed bag

Feels more like "reference" the show for an audience who grew up around the 2000's- etc, not a good one tho

@BlakeAl0 @TheSlayer39 @ToonHive I meant to say that it's an overdone anime trope often grouped in with fan service and such, like if the person don't have a good idea, they just slap in a "beach" plot which isn't a good start for a pilot (it's like the road trip trope) the show feels like it's for kids but not

Maybe let the pilot drop, watch it, and see if it's actually worth it, if it's not then provide criticism and shit
