The Jets offensive infrastructure for an incoming QB is borderline elite. (I cannot believe I just typed that). The OL is set, w/ bookend young OTs. They have 2 WRs I love and a wildcard in AD. They have a pair of young, talented TEs. They have RB1. This team is almost ready

My full opinion on Cade Klubnik for the #Jets: I didn’t like the team trading up and grabbing him also knowing needs and players available I would have wanted. He also was not on my person Top 5 QBs for this draft. With that being said, he definitely seems like he has a chip on his shoulder and wants to work his tail off. All draft picks can change your mind about them, I just was not woo’ed away from this pick.

Checked in with a couple of scouts on QB Cade Klubnik. One said Klubnik has "probably a backup ceiling, a quality 3 as a classroom guy...Doesn't have a particularly strong arm...overhyped as a potential first-round QB for this year...showed grit, resolve and determination" by finishing a disappointing '25 season on a positive note. Another scout said, "An athletic, accurate QB who, for the most part, makes good decisions with the ball. Really good backup who you don't have any real concerns if he has to play." #Jets

Ponds is a shade under 5-9. A little surprised with the pick, considering Glenn likes bigger/longer corners for his scheme. Ponds can fly; ran a 4.36 at his pro day.
