While the @StLawrenceCS Grade 8s were working on a group math problem it started snowing. So what did we do? Took a 5 minute break and ran out to enjoy the first snow of the year. @TCDSB
Yearly tradition continues as my class made apple crumble yesterday. Of course they had to use a scale factor to reduce a recipe calling for 6 apples into one for 4 apples. #mathiseverywhere@StLawrenceCS@TCDSB
My @StLawrenceCS grade 8 students never believe that I actually love Math, but this is how I am ‘relaxing’ at my cottage this evening! Will be using some of these to teach algebraic expressions next school year. #mathisfun@TCDSB
My grade 8s said goodbye to their kinder buddies today! There were lots of tears (from the grade 8s) and the kindies gave them friendship bracelets with their names on it!! @StLawrenceCS
Spent my 90 minutes of prep today doing a mini presentation to some of the @StLawrenceCS classes! Amazing to see kids that screamed when they heard the word snake actually come around to want to put one around their neck!! @SnakeDiscovery@TCDSB
Brought two of my snakes to show my class today and by lunch I had quite the crowd of other students at my door for their turn to hold either Sal or Rio! Now I have to bring them back next week to share with the rest of @StLawrenceCS
The @StLawrenceCS E-CSLIT exec team planned, created, and presented a great workshop today for Grades 5-8 on time management. I love Catholic Student Leadership! @TCDSB@MICHAELaCACCAMO
We love Catholic Student Leadership! Thanks @MICHAELaCACCAMO for chatting with some of the @StLawrenceCS students. Here’s to the next gen of world changers!
