@mikebolen Something is going on with pricing to STL because it’s out of control expensive for the next few months. Trying to fly from MSP to STL in early March is at least $450+ on a not-shitty airline.

This is wild. Trying to buy a plane ticket from the West Coast to Saint Louis, Missouri. All direct flights start at $564. But if I book a flight to Atlanta with a layover in STL the flight is $198. Why would you not just do a carry-on and get off the plane in STL? I am!

@SperrysandNikes So many brands don’t even put the type of beer on the can anymore. I can’t even find ABV on some. A good example is Surly from Minnesota. I’ve lived in Minneapolis for 13 years and still have no idea what kind of beer Surly Furious is so I never buy it.

The issue with craft beer is quite simple. If you’ve ever walked down a craft beer aisle, it can be one of the most overwhelming experiences. Loud packaging and colorful labels dominate the shelves. Take the 65-year-old who has been drinking Bud Light for 44 years—he has no idea what a Saison is, let alone how it differs from an IPA. Convincing him to make the switch isn’t going to happen, especially when the alternative is named something like “Zombie Dust.” Add to that the rise of hard seltzers, and you begin to see why there is a decline of craft beer.
