slopped up a basic skill for @badlogicgames Pi and @DanielGri's Glimpse to organize my diffs into sections for a Devin Review-like experience. will probably polish it up and publish soon :)

as corporate has decided we no longer need juniors, i think one function of OSS projects could be to keep the junior -> senior pipeline working. here's how i'll try to do it.

The Codex app server was such a brilliant stroke of foresight that really doesn't get enough love Not only are you allowed to use your chatgpt account with any harness, but you can build your own apps directly on top of theirs. They just make building on and with codex such a great experience To demonstrate this utility, I want to highlight the kitty litter app, made by @SIGKITTEN. Instead of having to build the entire harness, and all the infrastructure, he's plugged into the app server for a unified experience between mobile and dev machine. When I create a session on my computer, it's automatically available on my phone. All of the chats you see in this video automatically populated when we connected to the app server. All my skills. My agents. My sessions. My folders. My prompts. They're all ready to use - automatically. Because they're exposed by the app server, along with many other endpoints. It's a great ux/dx that really deserves some love. It's almost like they want you to build on top of their products ;) Btw Litter is great 👍

oh god, please no. the gemini integration in the google suit of productivity tools is the worst implementation in the entire space. my little pi with a cli to gmail/gdrive does better than this.
i want less of this, not more. pretty please. i'm even inclined to pay more that privilege...

Anthropic Agent SDK is Claude Code under the hood. That means they control the entire stack, including prompt caching (and telemtry), and can thus better control infra demand compared to prompt cache busting 3rd party harnesses.

I don't get how this works. Claude OAuth + OpenClaw (OSS) = banned Claude OAuth + "personal software" using Agent SDK = OK So if I fork OpenClaw to use Agent SDK under the hood, this is OK? Or is it only OK for "personal use", and if I sell it, I am banned from allowing end-users to connect their own Claude OAuth? I think the question people want to know is "can businesses allow end-users to bring-their-own Claude plan, if using the Agent SDK under the hood"?

This is implemented as changes to Pi's source code, as opposed to a Pi extension which "hacks" its way into modifying internal TUI functions (which the previous iteration did). Ideally, once the server/client rewrite is done, this can simply be a client of the server. 2/2
