TALARICO: "Prophetic voices like Jesus have helped me reckon with my own whiteness, my own masculinity, my own certainty, my own ego. It's a never-ending process, and it's a painful process." What kind of man talks like this?

Scott Boras uses the NBA's media rights deal to explain how MLB's inability to acquire its true valuation is playing into labor issues. "They offered the league, and we offer regional. Consequently, we're getting half. If we have $20B to deal with versus $4B, all the ills of what several owners struggle with today will be resolved."

WHY CANT PEOPLE GET IT ?? Florida is NOT a better job or football program than Ole Miss TODAY. I will unpack one last time. Florida is a bigger school, they have more alumni, they have more championships. That makes them HISTORICALLY better. That has nothing to do with 2025 and what college football is today. CFB is not what it was when Friends was on TV , it’s not what it was even 4 years ago. TODAY - Ole Miss pays Lane Kiffin more than Napier by several million dollars Can UF pay the same? Yes. Can they pay more ? No. OM can do whatever length of contract they want through the private entity known as the Ole Miss Athletic Foundation. So the pay will be the same. OM has the highest paid Top 10 assistants in the SEC. Including THE highest paid assistant coach in the SEC (Pete) OM can put together $25M for a Football roster on a consistent basis. Can UF do that ? Yes I’d assume they can. But can they do anything OM CAN’T do ? NO they cannot OM gives our Head Coaches (Football, Baseball, Basketball) complete autonomy. The booster structure at Ole Miss is trying to support the program ( not run the program ) the top people and the guy giving $100 year are in lock step and it’s been like that since Day 1. OM collective is generally accepted as Top 5 collective in the country and has been an innovator in the space. Our Chancellor is fully committed 100% to athletics as a way to grow the University’s success and is in complete sync with Athletic Director Keith Carter (who might be the best AD in the SEC, OM alum former Basketball player at OM) . Neither are going anywhere and both have big equity with the donors and fanbase. Kids today care about Money, Playing Time and style of play, and they want to win now. OM has won more than every SEC team other than UGA and Bama in today’s setup. OM has new facilities and so does UF but that really doesn’t matter that much anymore. Again. I’m not saying UF doesn’t have more history, I’m saying that it seems way more fractured and financially there is nothing UF can do that OM can’t if they want to. The recruiting angle is mute. OM has jets , money and a roster 80% out of state. Fans are the slowest to realize how much different this now is. Hardly any knowers of ball. Plenty historians. Look at what Indiana just did w Cignetti. 4 years ago he accepts Penn State. He knows he has a good deal and he can write his own rules. I’m sure Lane knows that same thing. I’m not saying he doesn’t leave but the notion of “of course he leaves it’s Florida over Ole Miss “ that’s not a real argument in 2025. #SEC #OleMiss #Florida

Florida. Way better recruits. You can win a national championship with only recruits within three hours from campus.

A salary floor will do far more good for baseball than a salary cap ever will.

This is the TD pass to DK. What do we notice here? 😎 #HereWeGo

We're not going back to whatever this is.
