@fuckyouiquit There is no trust or funding out to any date. SS taxes extracted from employees/employers is deposited in to the general revenue fund, commingled and spent. The iBonds written by the Treasury to the SS Administration are worthless, it is no more than an IOU.

Every dollar earned below $184,500 a year has a Social Security tax of 12.4%. Everything after that cap is exempt. If we lift this cap on the wealthiest earners, Social Security would be fully funded till 2070. The cap should not exist.

@zacbowden Also decrease time to boot. On my corporate DT, it takes 8 minutes from power on until the last startup program loads (only 2 and bloated teams is one) and I stop getting blue spinning circles. My Linux DT boots in a fraction of that time and no spinning circles.

Microsoft has confirmed that this year, it WILL be reducing where ads and Copilot appear throughout the system, including in Start, Widgets, Notepad, Photos, and more! File Explorer and Windows Search will be upgraded with improved performance and capabilities that make finding apps and files much faster and easier.
