Hola, I’m Dima (DCH on X) Founder of @ppuffins Founder Notes. Part 8. I want to share my thoughts on what’s happening right now. We officially launched and revealed Lil Puffins, and after the reveal the price moved down > honestly, I expected this, especially given the current market conditions A lot of people were hunting for rare traits and 1/1s. When the reveal happens and uncertainty disappears, a correction looks completely natural (also please read until the end, I have one idea about fp to share) Especially in a market like the one we’re in right now. From experience, it usually takes a few weeks for the floor to stabilize after a reveal, particularly for secondary collections. Given the current market situation, I don’t see anything alarming here, and I hope you don’t either! Our focus right now is simple: > Build for the long term In this kind of market, I genuinely believe this approach is more effective. Instead of chasing short term price action, we’re focusing on building resources and strengthening the community so that when the market improves, we’re ready and new people actually want to join the project. The key asset we have right now is the community. And we have it. That’s exactly why we’re putting even more emphasis on delivering value to our holders. Starting today, we’re launching an engagement system. > people will earn points for being active on Twitter and engaging with each other’s posts > every two weeks, the most active participants will receive rewards These can include Lil Puffins or other valuable prizes. We’re doing this because we see how well similar systems work in other communities, like Bearish or Fugz. They keep people engaged, motivated, and rewarded for contributing. In the current market environment, I believe this is the right way to build a strong and active user base and community. Now let’s talk about the reveal itself. Overall, everything went really well The feedback on the art has been extremely positive. Seeing people use Puffins as their PFPs genuinely means a lot to me!!! We’re trying to repost, follow back, and support everyone who’s showing love and using Puffins as their avatar. !! There were also questions about the 1/1 artworks. > most of them have already been sent out to their holders > right now, only a few 1/1s remain in our wallet. We’ve received a suggestion to run an auction for these remaining 1/1s and use all the proceeds to buy from the secondary market. Personally, I think this could be a win win. There’s clear demand for these NFTs, and using the funds to support the floor looks logical and aligned with our long term strategy, especially in the current market conditions. Let me know what you think about this idea. I don’t want to move forward with it without community feedback > would you be interested in trying something like this? Looking ahead, there’s a lot more coming over the next few weeks. Once the market settles a bit and we move through Christmas and New Year, we’ll continue actively building. Even during the holidays, we’ll keep working, but with more focus on internal processes and strengthening the community so Lil Puffins can be as successful as possible.
