@Garrett_Ruskamp It’s the easiest and most enjoyable part of my day aside from being home with the family. I don’t understand the rush want to automate it.

Be honest, farmers...
When was the last time you actually looked forward to cab time?
For some, the business side (numbers, decisions, endless office hours) has us delegating the fun stuff, like sitting in the tractor, feeling.
For me, tractor time is my reset. A chance to get a break from the office, and get back to the enjoyment. Just like when we were kids and nothing else mattered.
How do you value cab time?

Makes me think of high speed implements, picket fence corn stands, multi million dollar grain facilities, class 11 combines, the list goes on and on and on and on

@Iowacrops Farm Credit is the only reason I’m farming. Local bank always drug their feet and never wanted to do anything. When Dad and I built our hog barn they wouldn’t even entertain it and told us to go to Farm Credit. They’ve been great to work with for me. I don’t get the hate.

@BenjaminNething I’d be all for it if meant they would take grain say 12-18 hours a day. It’d be a game changer for trucking in the wintertime. A guy could get done in 3 days what would normally take all week.

Where are they? Probably up the ass of his 7000 hour 2188 trying to make it hold together another year or at their town job trying to make this work, not available for the photo op

I joined some incredible Missouri row crop farmers today alongside @GovMikeKehoe and Ag Director @chrischinn to tour Marty Richardson’s farm as we move into corn harvest. 🌽🚜 Marty’s a proud multi-generational Missouri farmer raising cattle and row crops right in the thick of harvest season. We heard directly from him and several of his fellow farmers about the challenges farmers face and the grit and resilience it takes to keep going. And we got to meet his AMAZING grandson, Brock, who will be the SIXTH GENERATION farming his family’s land. He’s who we’re fighting for every single day. Farmers like Marty, his family, precious Brock, are the backbone of rural America! 🇺🇸
