@naomiplummer78 @RalphyHeraldSun Good on her for believing apartheid was wonderful, what an exemplar of the word of god.
English

@RalphyHeraldSun Margaret Court is arguably the best female tennis player ever. Alicia Molik not even close. Margaret Court is also a pastor of a major church and does not compromise her beliefs or Gods word no matter how much hate is slinged in her direction.
English

@Ichabod_Noodle @guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa It does. But can’t logically be relied upon for SA, NT, Tas, so the whole closure could be deemed unconstitutional.
English

@aaron_zoa @guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa Take it up with the Inter-State Commission as required by Section 101.
..... oh wait.
That bit of the Constitution is unconstitutional. Silly section 101, should have been numbered in the 70s.
And for mine, the health trumps commerce anyway.
English

Why on earth are @MathiasCormann and @cporterwa fighting their own state, Western Australia? So that a QLD billionaire can land his private plane in Perth? Or is this about the Liberals’ debt to Clive Palmer for spending $83 MILLION to smear the Labor Opposition last election?
Patrick Gorman MP@PatrickGormanMP
The entire *national* economy benefits from the WA Hard Border. Here is why Clive Palmer is bad for WA and bad for Australia’s economy -> youtu.be/Zobyy9QSbmI #IStandWithMarkMcGowan #auspol

@Ichabod_Noodle @guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa Best you look up the interpretation of intercourse in the context of a 92, dad.
English

@aaron_zoa @guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa “On the imposition of uniform duties of customs, trade, commerce, and intercourse among the States, whether by means of internal carriage or ocean navigation, shall be absolutely free.”
Has he imposed customs duties and taxes on goods from the east?
Section 92?
Try again son.

@colmirgo @Insane_Itchy @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa So having a computer was all that is needed- what a simple solution. You should consult to the govt - you’d save them a lot of money.
English

@aaron_zoa @Insane_Itchy @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa Yeah, apparently they don't have computers mate .....
English

@Insane_Itchy @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa Pretty impossible to run parliament in Canberra without any members and staffers from Victoria or NSW. Just as is seems impossible to put forward logical views without a ‘water droplet’ next to your name.
English

@aaron_zoa @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa So is not having parliament running but that’s ok? Stay strong WA, QLD still got a few wankers through n I reckon it’s about to slam right like WA again from the Mexican infidels!!!!
English

@KerryRidleyBook @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa Politics and the law are two different things- I hope WA votes in the ALP next election. WA could end up with a worse outcome on its border because the current policy is arbitrary and broad based. Be careful what you wish for.
English

@aaron_zoa @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa On your bike mate
#IStandWithMarkMcGowan
As the liberals keep pointing out “unprecedented times”. With what’s going on on the east coast, WA fully supports a hard border. Legal vs people power . The next election will be the final outcome
English

@1Jarvi @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa Yes I do. And my point is that WA’s ‘hard’ border to ALL of Australia is the problem - there is no justification to close to SA, Tas, NT at least. The Constitution is not an everyday law.
English

@aaron_zoa @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa So Aaron. Do you also support Scomo and co not opening parliament. I mean if it's safe to open boarders it is safe to go to work. Sometimes things such a Pandemics and State of Emergency go outside the rule of everyday laws.
English

@davidwild66 @guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa But can he visit for 2 or 3 days? Not really free movement.
English

@aaron_zoa @guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa Clive Palmer can already come to WA, just like many other people from the Eastern States do. He just has to quarantine his sorry carcass in a hotel for two weeks when he gets here.
English

@Andrew07876996 @guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa Very happy to take your bets. The closure to SA and Tasmania cannot be justified.
English

@guruschmoo @aaron_zoa @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa My money is on border closures being upheld.
English

@guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa No probs- if there is a health risk and the curtailment of movement is proportionate to mitigate that risk, then the curtailment is probably fine. Problem is that SA, Tas, Qld have hardly any cases, so restricting mvmt of their residents likely not proportionate. Time will tell!
English

@guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa High court said in Cole v Whitfield: “The purpose of a 92 is clear enough: to create a free trade area throughout the Commonwealth and to deny to Commonwealth and States alike a power to prevent or obstruct the free movement of people, goods... across State boundaries”
English

@guruschmoo @MrKRudd @MathiasCormann @cporterwa No, but it is expected that where a significant public health risk exists that the High Court will narrowly interpret the freedom 1/2
English

@Ciggars1969 From memory, cigars and drinks at Abbotsford Convent, when the BWB was in full swing. Time flies!
English

@Ciggars1969 Would love to know how the coach of a private academy in Spain knows how ‘Australians coach’
English

@SaintFrankly @wwfcofficial @daRealAkinfenwa @AFLPlayers @thepfa “At the end of the day, I would have thought it was a game of two halves. The boys got around each other and got the job done. It’s a tough industry. It is what it is.”
English

@mariekehardy Give the guy a break - yes he was AWOL during the fires, but the guy has been working his arse off during this crisis. He (and we) will be better for a quick refresh. Dan looks absolutely exhausted and needs a break soon too. Tired people make mistakes.
