There's a new $400 AI-enabled smart toilet with a microphone and a 2 MP camera so you can know exactly how many Taco Bell Diablo-dusted chicken nuggets you can eat before your gut microbiome unalives itself --@fireship_dev

I used to be a creative in advertising. New York and London. Years of briefs, pitches and late nights trying to find the idea. Everyone talks about the idea that won the pitch. The one that made the room go quiet. No one talks about the 50 that didn't. The ideas that took a full afternoon to think of and went nowhere. The best creatives don't have better ideas than everyone else. They have more of them. They go further into the pile than anyone else is willing to go. The new @DaydrmAi Brand Film module generates the 50 ideas so you can do the part only you can do: find the one.

The ad industry is about to experience its ATM moment. When bank ATMs arrived, everyone assumed teller employment would collapse. Instead, it doubled over four decades. Cheaper branches meant more branches. AI is doing the same thing to advertising. But not evenly. Junior and mid-level creative roles are under pressure. But senior creatives and creative directors? Demand for them is about to surge. Here's why: AI can generate infinite options. It cannot tell you which one is right. The creative director who can work fluently with AI and present to a CMO with a point of view has became dramatically more valuable. That's exactly who I built @DaydrmAi for. I'm a former advertising creative director-turned-software engineer. I used my advertising experience at Droga5 and BBDO to build an AI-powered toolset for creatives, strategists, and directors. You bring the taste. Daydrm brings better ideas, faster. The new v4.0 is a major upgrade. Sharper models. Better ideas. Smoother experience. Everything that was already working, working better. Try it free. Link in the nxt tweet. #advertising #AI #creative #futureofwork #daydrm

Honestly, this is the most accurate diagram I've seen. Waterfall: You plan for 18 months and deliver exactly what nobody needs anymore. Agile: You deliver something usable at every step, but the CEO keeps asking, "Where's the car?" AI: You get the car on day one. It has six wheels, the doors are on backwards, and it has a rocket launcher. You spend more time making it yours than actually "building"; it's shaping. owning. verifying. That's what the best AI developers do now. They don't build. They shape and own.

Remember when Claude Code was fast and Codex was slow? I'm now finding the opposite: Codex bangs out tasks and Claude Code takes 10 minutes to change a color scheme to dark mode 🤔

This was a medium-sized pain in the butt to set up (You need to auth and connect a project to Google Cloud) but it works. Claude Code created a Google Doc for me in my account. I'll test Gmail and Calendar next.

"Programming is heading the way of physical exercise. You don't have to run to places if you can take the bus, but you still need to go for a run to keep your body in shape. In software development you still need to do small projects by hand to keep your mind sharp." - @lumipakkanen3510 on Youtube

@dens Claude Sonnet is the most creative/comedic writer for writing scripts. Funnier and more unexpected writing than GPT or Gemini or Kimi On @openrouter, I fire one prompt at three models and get three outputs back

Opus 4.6 in @AnthropicAI Claude Code now has the ability to use agent swarms (sub-agents) to accomplish tasks. To enable: 1. Install tmux: `brew install tmux` 2. Run tmux: `tmux` 3. Run Claude Code in the tmux session: `claude` 4. Include in your prompt "Use your agent teams/swarm mode feature to complete this" That's it
Mckay Wrigley@mckaywrigley

opus 4.6 with new “swarm” mode vs. opus 4.6 without it. 2.5x faster + done better. swarms work! and multi-agent tmux view is *genius*. insane claude code update.
