Newcastle United
Thank you, Tripps 🖤🤍 After four and a half years of incredible service to Newcastle United, we can confirm that Kieran Trippier will leave the club this summer when his contract expires. Kieran arrived in January 2022 with the club in the relegation zone and played a crucial role as he went on to lift the club’s first domestic trophy in 70 years.

Gerwyn Price REACTS to Littler & Van Veen Clash After Winning in Manchester "I've been in that situation. That's part and parcel of darts. Emotions are up and down, it's a rollercoaster. "Sometimes you need to be a bit peed off and get those reactions otherwise what's the point? Do you not want to win that much? "You probably regret some of the things you do. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. "I've been there. The backlash off it - Luke [Littler] will have a bit of it. "I've been in that situation and I feel for the kid at the minute." 💎 In association with @DiamondXDraws #PLDarts

Everton are hopeful of keeping Jack Grealish at the club beyond the end of this season. The 30-year-old is on loan at the Merseyside club from Manchester City, with the deal including an option to buy in the region of £50million. Everton are keen on keeping Grealish, who has not played since January 18 due to a foot injury that required surgery, but are likely to regard the purchase option as being too expensive. Another loan move could be a more likely route to retaining Grealish, though talks over a deal are not expected to progress until the end of the 2025-26 campaign. bit.ly/3NTLoV1

Angus Kinnear, Everton’s Chief Executive Officer: “Over the course of the financial year, and particularly following the change in ownership, the Club made significant progress in stabilising the financial position and creating a platform for long-term growth. “The delivery of Hill Dickinson Stadium has been central to that progress. It represents a transformational opportunity for the Club, our supporters and the wider city, and will play a key role in driving future revenues. Growing our revenues is essential if we are to support our ambitions on the pitch and compete consistently at the highest level. “While these results show improvement, we know there is more work to do. With a strengthened financial foundation, committed ownership and a clear strategic direction, we are focused on continuing to grow sustainably and building a competitive future for Everton Football Club.”

After his England debut on Friday, Thomas Tuchel called James Garner “our mini Valverde”. That comparison to the brilliant Uruguay and Real Madrid midfielder will do Garner’s World Cup chances no harm. @Paddy_Boyland breaks down why the Everton midfielder is making such a strong case to be included in Tuchel’s squad this summer: 🔎 Second-highest number of interceptions in the Premier League 🔎 Second-highest number of tackles in the Premier League 🔎 Ability to play central midfield, left back and right back. 🔎 Set piece expertise (three of six assists from set pieces) 🔎 Strong leadership qualities 🔗 nytimes.com/athletic/71513…
