@Blue_Footy But Hazard was an instant impact when brought to Chelsea. He didn't need time to be protected or shine. Give the boy his minutes let him adapt immediately, Neymer or Oscar didn't need this either but yet they conquered Europe.

Estevão not starting every game isn't down to talent because if it's just talent, he will bench Neto easily. Maresca is protecting him while he adapts. If we throw him in, he will burn out at some point and the performance will drop, then the vulture will rise to attack him. Remember what happened to Palmer around this time last season? Something similar and we don't want that for a 18-year-old who is still adapting to a new league, in a new team while learning the language. The way Maresca is managing him is similar to what Xavi did with Yamal in his first season. Manage the minutes, keep building up his strength, tactical understanding, relationships and confidence. When the time to unleash him full time comes, nobody can stop him. For me, just like Yamal at Barca, next season, Estevão will be an undisputed starter for Chelsea. It's as simple as that!
