Years ago, I began counting the times @McDonalds near me asked me to park and bring me my food. Today was the 316th visit, nobody in line…they ask me to park again. Nobody waiting. I’m done. I left, my food still cooking. Not once in 316 visits have I just been handed my food.

This the one location on Orchard in Boise. It’s close to my work when I need to hurry for the ten minutes between meetings. I have kept a running total in my notes on my phone. I kept going back because I thought…surely not this time. Once, I waited 25-minutes for food.
