@jmsummers I *loved* seeing your coverage of one of my favorite shows, Bluey! :) I was surprised that the interview transcript had the names of the actors for Bluey and Bingo as I thought they were intentionally not credited. Was that expected? npr.org/2022/11/29/113…

My youngest son and I spent the better part of a few hours today playing with GarageBand audio mixing. We created some "podcasts", we recorded guitar and vocals, and we mixed vocals with an instagram "remix with me" video. And through all that he really just wanted to (1/2)

One thing that has genuinely gotten more salient is observed twitter errors. The baseline error rate is never zero, but now we’re all primed to pay attention to any hint of twitter breaking down.

While I did step back from using Twitter like I used to, I've still been browsing fairly regularly. The curious part of me wants to observe what happens to the user experience as things inevitably degrade. I'm also glad I downloaded my Twitter archive a couple weeks ago.

On social media, we are the product. I've largely accepted that, but I'm using this time of Twitter upheaval to a) mourn with my friends who work there, and b) take a look at where I spend my own time and energy online. I decided to delete my old tweets and take a step back.
