Robert Patterson, in the new #Dune film, is just Paul Bettany with a slightly worse hairline.

@BarrySheehan @Caolan_Scully Agree. I’m wondering if he sees Izzy as more of a hybrid 6 than an out and out lock, so that’s why Murray is getting a chance.

@aaronmacn @Caolan_Scully Majority of Irish fans have been happy to see the likes of Iz & Edogbo get a run. Now Murray. I just hope it isn’t a case of “I gave them all a game and now I’m going to revert back to those who have credit in the bank”. Izzy and Timoney in particular should be retained starters

Between Cormac Izuchukwu being released and Ireland naming about 5 lads who can play 12… Some strange calls

So, in a relatively less successful Six Nations, Ireland are still in the running on the final day, have blooded new caps and added competition to the squad by dropping senior players in favour of those on-form. This, with guys like Porter and Hansen to come back? Not bad, Andy.

The #Chargers are being too passive in FA again, aren’t they? Nearly every recent SuperBowl winner has brought in a big FA to get them over a hump and we shouldn’t be any different. But here we are again….

Poor showing by United. Too many players waiting for others (i.e. Bruno) to make something happen. Had chances. But Newcastle out hustled them all game. Minimum damage with other results but Carrick’s got to prove now he can right the ship - this is his job interview.

Baloucoune had another very good game. Great to see him properly fit. He's only 28.

Genuinely, the refs might have save England another 14 points here, solely through wrong decisions. #ENGvIRE

@IrishRugby @VodafoneIreland @canterburyNZ @SixNationsRugby Don’t understand bring Frawley in when it’s a 5/3 split. For 6-2, he’s more versatile than SP or Byrne, but on a 5-3 I don’t understand how he’s beaten those two out. Can only assume someone in the back 3 or a centre is carrying a knock. Fear for the scrum if a lock goes down.

@Rugby_Scoop Both were cynical, Lynagh was always push the ball forward rather than trying to catch it. The test the refs apply for the yellow was whether it was to prevent a line break. That’s where the difference in the two outcomes came from.

@aaronmacn DuPont was deliberate — a clear slap on the ball. How is that not cynical (even if there’s a player within 10 m)? Lynagh is reaching out to catch the ball. How is this cynical when DuPont’s wasn’t?

#RugbyScoop | I completely disagree with this call! Louis Lynagh is the passing line here; he was in a catching position. Calling this a deliberate knock-on is absurd. Last week Dupont did something similar, but because there was a player in the backfield, it was deemed just a penalty.
