56 seconds…
The useless bastards couldn’t hold the ball for 56 seconds.
Or at least kick the fuck out of the ball deep into the French half?
Nah, the Saville-haired arsehole couldn’t manage that.
At least we can all go back to disliking England.
Tight Five Rugby@TightFive_Rugby
Yeah Pollock, you’ve got to hold onto that ball. Cost England the game and Ireland the Six Nations.

@BarrySheehan @Caolan_Scully Agree. I’m wondering if he sees Izzy as more of a hybrid 6 than an out and out lock, so that’s why Murray is getting a chance.
English

@aaronmacn @Caolan_Scully Majority of Irish fans have been happy to see the likes of Iz & Edogbo get a run. Now Murray. I just hope it isn’t a case of “I gave them all a game and now I’m going to revert back to those who have credit in the bank”. Izzy and Timoney in particular should be retained starters

The Alec Pierce deal is this year’s Christian Kirk deal.

7 Ulster players in the 23 gives a great account of the work Richie Murphy has been doing this season.

@thepaulwilliams Looking forward to seeing him, Keenan and Hansen in the same team.

@IrishRugby @VodafoneIreland @canterburyNZ @SixNationsRugby Don’t understand bring Frawley in when it’s a 5/3 split. For 6-2, he’s more versatile than SP or Byrne, but on a 5-3 I don’t understand how he’s beaten those two out.
Can only assume someone in the back 3 or a centre is carrying a knock.
Fear for the scrum if a lock goes down.

@Rugby_Scoop Both were cynical, Lynagh was always push the ball forward rather than trying to catch it.
The test the refs apply for the yellow was whether it was to prevent a line break. That’s where the difference in the two outcomes came from.
English

@aaronmacn DuPont was deliberate — a clear slap on the ball. How is that not cynical (even if there’s a player within 10 m)?
Lynagh is reaching out to catch the ball. How is this cynical when DuPont’s wasn’t?

I completely disagree with this call!
Louis Lynagh is the passing line here; he was in a catching position.
Calling this a deliberate knock-on is absurd.
Last week Dupont did something similar, but because there was a player in the backfield, it was deemed just a penalty.
