liking snape’s raceswap but getting pissed when a half-white girl is cast as an asian girl is hypocritical. you’re either okay with raceswaps, black and white, or you’re not. i’m okay with either so long as they’re good at acting and race isn’t part of their story or environment like it is with most disney princesses.

Whole Potterverse has one single Asian character- and they still have to cast a Wasian for this role😭 And her whole shtick is that she's supposed to be an extreme beauty & protagonist romance-bait, and, no offense, but there's better casting choices. I already thought the original Cho Chang wasn't all that pretty. Why is it so hard to cast actual Asian beauties for literally the only Asian beauty character in Western cinema history???? This is not about race btw, I'm looking forward to Black Snape the most.
