September 6, 2023 Press Statement PDP Rejects Presidential Election Petition Court Judgment Few moments ago, the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) delivered Judgment in the Petition filed by our Party, the @OfficialPDPNig and its Candidate, @Atiku against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), @inecnigeria the All Progressives Congress (APC) @OfficialAPCNg and Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT over the declaration of the APC and Senator Tinubu as Winner of the February 25, 2023 Presidential election by INEC. As a Party, we have had an initial review of the Judgment as delivered by the PEPC and we unequivocally reject the said Judgement in its entirety. The Judgement is against reason, against the facts and evidence presented in Court; against the relevant Electoral Laws, Guidelines and Regulations as well as the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended). Indeed, the Judgment is generous in technicalities and very short in delivering substantial justice in the matter. The PDP, as a law-abiding political Party, will with our lawyers, have a comprehensive review of the Judgment and decide on the next line of action within the ambit of the law. The PDP calls on Nigerians to remain at alert, calm and united as our Party continues to lead the charge to defend Democracy and ensure that the Will of the people as expressed in the February 25, 2023 Presidential election is respected and restored. #SeyiTheBeloved: Youths & Sports Development: In the area of Youths and Sports Development, the Oyo State Government under Governor @seyimakinde, through the Agency for Youth Development, established the following “economy creation programmes” 1. Wealth Creation:- An economic empowerment programme organised to make the youths self-reliant and job creators. 2. Vocational Skills Acquisition Programme:- A programme designed to train youths on skill acquisition. 3. Youth in Agricultural Business:- A programme in which youths who are interested in agricultural business such as snailery, bee keeping, fisheries, poultry production etc. are trained, placed on internship and equipped with starter packs. 4. Short-Term Intensive Skills Training:- A programme organised to develop small and medium scale enterprise as a strong strategy to combat poverty and hunger. Youths were trained and empowered with equipment for economic self-reliance in ICT, fashion designing, vulcanizing and photography. 5. Youth Apprenticeship Programme: – It is to develop responsible, informed and participatory youth entrepreneurs through the exposition of participants to modern business practices, life skills, marketing and linkages. 6. State Youth Merit Award: – A programme designed to encourage hard work and exemplary leadership, qualities among outstanding youth who excelled in their chosen career/vocations. 7. Expenses on Federation of Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs: – A programme designed to channel the energy of young people towards positive and productive use. It is also channel towards physical development and talent discovery.

The Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal (PEPT) has set September 16 2023 as the Judgement date for the PDP’s case of Atiku against APC, INEC and Tinubu. Pass it on!

I woke up this morning wondering how we got to this cul de sac. In 1999, @officialABAT claimed he attended St. John's Primary School, Aroloya, Lagos, before proceeding to Children Home School in Ibadan. According to him, his next port of call in his educational journey was Government College Ibadan and, Richard Daley College and Chicago State University in the United States. Curiously, in 2023, Tinubu settled with attending only @ChicagoState. I am scratching my head. How is that possible? Methinks that all well-meaning Nigerians should be as confused as I am with Tinubu’s declaration that he had no primary and secondary education, yet he has a university degree. The Chicago State University in the United States of America, in response to the application filed by the @OfficialPDPNig and its Presidential Candidate in the February 25, 2023 Election, @Atiku has agreed to release the credentials of Bola A. Tinubu. Nigerians and members of the international community are eagerly waiting for this information as this will form greater part of the decision making process of the petition before the court. #AllEyesOnTheJudiciary

(Dr.) Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli over the unfortunate building collapse of a section of the Zaria Central Mosque and the attack by bandits at Kofan gayan, Zaria. I pray that Almighty Allah comforts the families of the deceased and accept the souls of the departed. Amin.

Earlier today, I was in Gimi Ward of Makarfi Local Government to condole with the families of Hon. Lawal Zarto, PDP Ward secretary and Mal. Nasiru Gimi over the demise of their family members. I pray that God will grant them the needed comfort and strength to bear the loss.
