Last week, year 6 became toy designers. They combined their scientific knowledge with they design and technology skills to create Steady Hand Games.

After wearing their own odd socks to school last week, the children in year 4 have designed a pair of socks with a clear message #antibullyingweek2024 #oddsocksday

On Tuesday 13th November, seven of our year 6s went to our school’s collaboration, Together as One, Maths Day. This was a great event and it was a joy to hear and see our children, plus children from other schools, discussing, enjoying and being challenged in their maths.

Year 6 had a great afternoon exploring the art concept of Chiaroscuro- a drawing where there is drama light and shade.

On Thursday, year 6 took part in the Reading for Pleasure Live event delivered by the British Council. The poetry draw along was a great way of showing the children the power of reading in developing ones imagination.
