We had a cosy Christmas reading cafe this week, where the children enjoyed biscuits and drinks whilst reading Christmas books together. Well done to all the children who were invited for their super efforts with reading this term! 👏🎄📚

After wearing their own odd socks to school last week, the children in year 4 have designed a pair of socks with a clear message #antibullyingweek2024#oddsocksday
On Tuesday 13th November, seven of our year 6s went to our school’s collaboration, Together as One, Maths Day. This was a great event and it was a joy to hear and see our children, plus children from other schools, discussing, enjoying and being challenged in their maths.
On Thursday, year 6 took part in the Reading for Pleasure Live event delivered by the British Council. The poetry draw along was a great way of showing the children the power of reading in developing ones imagination.
Our reading ambassadors have been busy in their new roles. They visited Ravenshead library last week to select books for their classes and have made a start on their class reading shelfies. 📚
