Can someone please explain to our cricket experts that a bowler cannot decide how much workload their body can take, no matter how hard they work at it. Shane Bond was a perfect example, Shaun Tait, Pattinson, Nehra... All wanted to play every international match, their bodies just could not take it. Interpreting that as a player picking and choosing matches does a grave disservice to the player in question.

I understand pitches, conditions, combinations all of it. But making a wicket taking, match winner like @imkuldeep18 sit out for 5 straight Tests is beyond me. Especially in a series decider. Can someone please explain the logic? #INDvENG

@SaiyamiKher @imkuldeep18 Suppose you carry 3 spinners in your team and lose the toss on the first day and field, you end up not having those 3 bowlers for the first 2 days, and you have already compromised on your batting. Kuldeep is world class, but we have Jadeja and Sundar who are doing as well
