@Boobar8 @KinkyyCave Not everyone is going to understand our decision, and that’s completely valid. We are not saying that it’s wrong to find happiness in times of darkness, we just feel that the location of the event is inappropriate given the circumstances.

@tristian_little We appreciate that thought, and it was something that we considered! Ultimately, it does not feel appropriate for us to attend when there is so much trauma happening to the residents of the twin cities right outside the doors of the convention.

@KinkyyCave We feel that it is incredibly tone deaf to have a four day party while people are dying and being forcibly removed from their homes and families, and we are not interested in participating in that.
