Muiz called Gapo late Sunday night. He offered to release all pending payments owed by Finance to his company, PestEx. He also proposed financial incentive in exchange for the dismissal of Anni and Faya’s loyalists, to create internal chaos within MDP, weaken the party and inflict lasting damage, what he sees as his only viable path or even a slim chance, to secure 2028. Also later today, Deputy Speaker Nazim called Gapo to assure him that any case brought to civil court by members of Faya faction in relation to today’s decisions would ultimately be resolved in his favour.
