Sunnah of ‘Eid Al-Adhā Prayer (and some abandoned ones): 1. Ghusl (ritual bath) before going out to the prayer. 2. Wearing your best clothes (not necessarily new). 3. Applying perfume (for men). 5. Not eating before ‘Eid al-Adhā until after the prayer. 6. Walking to the Eid ground if possible. 7. Taking one route to the prayer and returning via another. 8. Saying the Takbīr aloud until the prayer begins. (Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Lā ilāha illaLlāh, Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Wa liLlāhil Hamd) 9. No Adhān or Iqāmah for ‘Eid prayer. 10. Praying in an open space (Musalla) unless there's a valid excuse. 11. The Imam gives Khutbah after the prayer (not before like Jumu’ah). 12. Listening to the Khutbah. Many walk away right after the prayer (an abandoned Sunnah). 13. Praying two Rak‘āt at home after returning from the ‘Eid ground – as narrated by Abū Sa‘eed al-Khudrī (RA): “The Prophet would NOT pray anything before the 'Eid prayer. Then when he returned to his house, he would pray 2 Rak‘āt.” TaqabbalaLlāhu minna wa minkum.

Tomorrow is the day of Arafah, fast if you can. Abu Qatadah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about the observance of Saum (fasting) on the day of 'Arafah. He said, "It is an expiation for the sins of the preceding year and the current year." #Hajj1447

tomorrow is Yawmul ‘Arafah! fast, if you are able, and encourage others to do the same. and as you observe your fast, try to avoid all forms of transgression whether major or minor. you shouldn't be sinning on the day Allāh expiates sins. may Allāh count us among the forgiven.
