2024 Felt like a Horror Movie for me, I LOST EVERYTHING!! And I don't mean metaphorically, or rhetorically or poetically or any other fancy way. I LOST EVERYTHING. STRAIGHT UP. Lemme bring you up to speed So, it's 3rd of Jan. 2024 I was returing back to school.... and The Bus Driver that took me from lagos to Abeokuta somehow managed to misplace all of my clothes (Packed in one bag) So, right off the bat I lost all my clothes, the only clothes I had was the one I was putting on & just one Top inside the other bag I was carrying. Right there and then, even homeless people get clothes pass me me😂. Cuz the Jeans I was wearing that day somehow managed to tear somewhere between the park and my hostel on that same day. Thank God for good friends and good people @Onlyonecurrency , @TRM_TRADES and @Techriztm came to my rescue. Helped me with cash and I was able to get 3 jeans and about 3 Tops too. : That's what I wore for the whole of that Semester and I'm not even capping 😭😂. Then, sometimes in February.. my power Bank got stolen. And just when I thought I could catch a break the biggest blow Hit. April 12 2024 : I went to school for an exam listening to @DunsinOyekan new album that came out earlier that day... Trying to get charged up before I go in for the exams. Little did I know, that's the last thing I'll ever do with that phone (Phones). Went in for the CBT exam, spent barely 10-12 minutes... Came out back and boom! Both of my phones were gone (iPhone XR & Redmi 10C ) just like that!. Guess who was facing eviction by the end of that same April??!. You guessed right. ME!, My landlord at the time told me to move out of the apartment by the end of April So in a span of 4 months: Lost both of my phones All my clothes My powerbank And I was facing eviction... It actually felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulder, But it didn't break me, I showed up everyday, always striving to get 1% better everyday without fail @Only1Lucent can bear me witness During these 4 months, I blew about 4 props, Lost quite a fortune to Deriv. I was 8% up on a Prop back then.. just 2% left to get funded, then the biggest loosing streak of my life hit. 30 trades in a row, not a single win. 30 trades with consistent risk by the way. But if there's one thing I thank God for, It's the gift of Persistence, even in the face of debts, eviction, losses' losses!!' lossess!!! it didn't break my Spirit and I kept pushing forward regardless. I started my TG Channel [ t.me/kingtrades_0 ] around a month later devoted my time to teach and consistently Host sessions every sunday 6:00PM Without fail, with that I was able to improve : My Communication skills, Get rid of stage freight , Become a better trader {I learn faster when i'm teaching}… a lot more happened, but i'll spare you the details. Come 2025, I've also had my fair share of multiple Losses and lessons But. I've been able to - Pass Multiple Prop accounts - Find my Edge - Trade the Crypto & Forex Market Profitably - Got a New Phone {Redmi Note 13} - Paid My Rent, School fees, Finance myself all with Trading Profit. ~And within the past 3 months ~I got a Starlink ~Got a Brand new iPhone 15 Pro ~Upgrade and fully Setup my Apartment ~Bought a Generator ~Got a Solar Powerstation for my workspace: to cut fuel cost ~Started going to the Gym consistently ~Make 4 Figures in Trading Profit And so many other things i'd like to keep off the Net.
