We convened a productive and constructive meeting in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq with U.S. Ambassador Tom Barrack @USAMBTurkiye and Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander of U.S. Central Command @CENTCOM . The support of the United States and President Trump’s @POTUS policy for the ceasefire are of utmost significance and greatly appreciated. Additionally, Ambassador Barrack’s commendable efforts to facilitate dialogue and negotiations between us and the Syrian government are serious, essential and highly valued. We will diligently and with all our capabilities work to achieve genuine integration and maintain the current ceasefire.

تلقينا مكالمةً هاتفيةً من الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، أعرب فيها عن دعمه ومساندته للجهود المبذولة من قبلنا والأطراف العاملة على وقف إطلاق النار، والعودة لمسار الحوار والتفاوض في سوريا، بغية الوصول لحلٍّ دائمْ يخدم المصلحة العامة للمنطقة بالكامل. كما وتطرق الحديث إلى تطبيق الاتفاقات السابقة في الآونة الأخيرة بيننا وبين الحكومة السورية وضرورة حماية حقوق المكونات.

بناء على دعوات من الدول الصديقة والوسطاء، وإبداءنا لحسن النية في إتمام عملية الدمج والالتزام بتنفيذ بنود اتفاقية العاشر من آذار، قررنا سحب قواتنا غدا صباحاً الساعة 7. من مناطق التماس الحالية شرقي حلب والتي تتعرض لهجمات منذ يومين، وذلك نحو إعادة تموضع في مناطق شرق الفرات.

إن المرحلة الراهنة تفرض على الجميع مسؤولية وطنية مشتركة، وحواراً جامعاً يضع مصلحة السوريين فوق كل اعتبار. نؤكد التزامنا الثابت باتفاقية العاشر من آذار، بوصفها أساساً لبناء سوريا ديمقراطية، لا مركزية، بإرادة أبنائها، ومحصّنة بقيم الحرية والعدالة والمساواة. (2)

قبل عام دخلت سوريا مرحلة جديدة بسقوط النظام البائد، في محطة مفصلية نعتزّ بها أنهت عقوداً من الاستبداد والانقسام. نهنّئ أبناء شعبنا السوري بهذه الذكرى التي تؤكد إرادة السوريين في بناء مستقبل يقوم على العدالة والاستقرار والشراكة وصون حقوق كل المكوّنات. (1)

التجارب بعد سقوط منظومات الاستبداد أثبتت أن أي خطوة تُتخذ دون توافق وطني — كما ظهر في أزمات الساحل والسويداء — لا تجلب إلا مزيدًا من التوتر. الطريق الحقيقي للاستقرار يبدأ من طاولة مستديرة تجمع كل مكوّنات سوريا، يتبعها دستور توافقي، وحكومة انتقالية تمثيلية، وانتخابات ديمقراطية

What we saw today in Syria — sectarian slogans and disdain for parts of our people — is alarming and only deepens division. Syria needs unifying discourse. The transitional authority and the media must foster an environment that strengthens unity and stability.

ما شهدته شوارع وساحات سوريا اليوم من شعارات طائفية ومظاهر ازدراء لمكوّنات شعبنا يبعث على القلق. هذا الطريق لا يقود إلا للمزيد من الشرخ والكراهية. سوريا تحتاج خطاباً يضمّ أبناءها لا يفرّقهم، ومسؤولية السلطة الانتقالية والإعلام أن يهيّئا مناخاً يرسخ الوحدة ويقود للاستقرار.

I just had a wonderful phone call with Ambassador Tom Barrack @USAMBTurkiye to discuss the outcomes of the meeting with President Al-Sharaa in the White House and our commitment to accelerate the integration of the SDF into the Syrian state. Syria’s accession to the global coalition against ISIS represents a pivotal step towards enhancing collaborative efforts and bolstering the initiatives aimed at achieving the enduring defeat of ISIS and eliminating its threat to the region. We are diligently working with our partners in close coordination to advance progress towards a more prosperous and secure future for our people in a unified Syria.

في اليوم العالمي للتضامن مع مقاومة كوباني ضد تنظيم داعش الإرهابي، نستذكر التضحيات الجسيمة التي قدّمها مقاتلونا وشعبنا دفاعاً عن مدينتهم والإنسانية جمعاء. نستحضر أيضاً التضامن العالمي ودعم التحالف الدولي لقواتنا في تلك المعركة، وكل من وقف معنا في تلك الأيام العصيبة، رمزًا لوحدة الإنسانية في مواجهة الظلام والتطرّف. ذلك التضامن مكّننا من كسر التنظيم في مدينتنا، والانطلاق نحو إنهاء خلافته المزعومة وبناء مستقبلٍ أفضل للسوريين جميعاً.
