@abdulmm03 Not been great at DD. But that's almost 10 years ago, since then, he's mostly been behind the scenes. Also, he was the Pak coach for 6 months, which includes 2024 T20 WC, but that's more on PCB & players as well than Kirsten. It's a complete surprise then for everyone.

Sad truth is even if SL were to pick the hitters in the country for t20, they would all still be sub-par compared to international standards so they’ll fail a couple of times trying to sustain the boundary hitting & Arnold will be on comms saying that it’s not all about 4s & 6s!

@abdulmm03 On 7th, ACB will get a final decision whether the series can take place in UAE. They are talking with SLC about hosting the matches in SL too I heard but time might be too less for the second option.

Regarding Abhishek, we will have to look past things like T20 cricket is volatile now. The thing that was so impressive when he was doing well was how clean the shots were. Now, there seems to be a lot of pre-meditation, shots across the line/turn.

Next T20 WC in NZ & Aus. U need to build up Fast bowling & Fast bowling AR options in the upcoming cycle. Dilshan,Chameera,Kumara,Pathirana,Malinga,Thushara,Asitha & Wiki,Milan & Isitha Wijesundara as my AR options. I would also keep Shanaka in the mix as a pure pace hitter…

& a 1-max 2 over bowler depending on situ & conditions. Rest & Rotate among these options in the upcoming cycle. Play T20s on good bouncy & true tracks in Pallekele, Dambulla, SSC, Hambantota. Avoid RPS at all costs

@ChatilPandi Yeah an innings like that. Don’t act like Dilshan in his prime was some pace-hitting demon. He had a couple of good years opening the batting but he was a glorified anchor in t20s after 2011/2012 with the odd blitzkrieg. There’s a reason his t20 sr is 120
