The index which rated governance in Africa revealed that there has been stagnation of over all governance in the continent from 2014 to 2024 Overall Governance in Sierra Leone is better than 2014 but there has been slow improvement of governance since 2019, the Index said. Although Sierra Leone is rated 23 in the Index, South Sudan which is rated 54 is described as making progress on governance than Sierra Leone on over all governance since 2019.
