King Faisal met the French physician Maurice Bucaille, who was hostile to Islam. He told the King that the Qur’an contained errors. King Faisal asked him, “Have you read it in its original language?” He replied, “No.” The King then said, “Read it in its language.” Maurice Bucaille went on to learn the Arabic language until he mastered it, then read the Qur’an. His judgment changed, and he realized that everything he had previously understood about the Qur’an was wrong. This became the reason for his embracing Islam.
