Firstly, FUNQUE outperforms the prediction performance of VMAF by almost 10% (0.8 -> 0.87). That itself is nice, but the crazy thing is that we get this improvement using less than 1/8th of the compute! Check it out if you're interested and I'll be happy to discuss! 3/3

I say "heterogeneous" to mean that each quality model/feature is computed separately, in part because they each use somewhat different transforms/computations. We solve this problem by developing FUNQUE (pronounced "funky"), which "unifies" quality models before fusion. 2/3

New preprint out at arxiv.org/abs/2202.11241! The streaming industry standard for quality assessment is VMAF, which "fuses" the outputs of smaller/simpler quality models. While VMAF predicts quality well, it's expensive to calculate all these heterogeneous quality models. 1/3

@tanyarajhans7 Thanks for sharing! It's always nice to see people make coding accessible to others :) Small suggestion - because we only care about the size of the stack, we can maintain a counter denoting the size and add/sub 1 for every "imaginary" push/pop. This lets us solve in O(1) space!
