Sad news to share tonight. One of the warriors of Indian cricket, Anshuman Gaekwad has passed away. In the pre helmet era, cricket was as much about courage as character and class. Anshu sir had all qualities in abundance, best shown in West Indies in 1976 when he took blows all over the body but fought on . Played the game of life with a straight bat!🙏 RIP Sir
