Bumrah’s impact shouldn’t be measured in wickets. It is his presence that matters. When he is in the team, he controls one end. Opposition goes easy on him. They look to play him out, generally. They don’t take risks against him. Therefore he doesn’t get many wickets. Since they don’t get a lot of runs off Bumrah, they take risks against other bowlers and loose wickets. It is the others who get more wickets than him thanks to his economical bowling from one end. Bumrah is probably the best bowler T20 game has seen. Oppositions dread him. The way he controls start and death overs is impeccable. He has won games from nowhere. His influence on this game is huge and unquestionable. If I were to pick one bowler to bowl a crucial over, I’d pick him. Anyday. Everyday.

Find it a bit odd Sanju Samson was dropped after one failure (this series). The same guy who was a success as opening batter (with Abhishek) but was first dumped from that position and now from the XI in the middle of a series. Jitesh may be better at 6 or 7 but what about Sanju, and where can he be at his best??? #IndvsAus
