In the last 3 months, my income looked like this:
✅ June ~ $4,000
✅ July ~ $1,500
✅ August ~ $170
The lesson?
When I stopped posting content and doing outreach, everything dropped.
And since I was only working with just one client, I realized something important: when that client churned, I was almost back to zero.
Even when I hit $4,000, I was only working 3–4 hours a day and then spending the rest of my time traveling around Koh Samui and training Muay Thai 🇹🇭
My goal was never to be another video editor stuck in his room grinding endlessly.
And make it a job in disguise, but worse.
I’ve always aimed for $10k/month and I got 40% closer.
But I was wondering, If I aim for $100,000/month and I get 40% closer, that’s $40,000.
That’s when everything started to click.
Because the only ceiling is the size of your goals and the beliefs you choose to hold.
In the Bible it says: “If you have the faith to move mountains, you will move the mountains.”
Believe “YOU-CAN” and “HOW-TO” will automatically emerge through your automatic guidance system (subconscious mind).
Half-ass beliefs produce half-ass results.
So set bigger goals, and think big.
Because the only limitation is how far you’re willing to see yourself go.
Rise Above the Rest.
PS: I’m a natural southpaw, And what about you?

We just launched a brand-new channel for a creator.
First video, fresh audience, zero momentum.
One well-edited filled with value and it generated over 6.3k+ views.
That's the difference between just editing videos vs. editing for growth.

feeling reflective
here's a bunch of youtube mistakes i made in the early days
- targeting 3rd world country audiences (lower RPM)
- outsourcing writing scripts too early
- making thumbnails myself
- paying freelancers for samples
- worrying about views too early
- choosing a complicated niche as a beginner
- obsessing over upload settings or tags
- focusing too much on adsense (tiny compared to selling products)
- wasting time starting new channels before mastering one
- hiring editors on upwork/fiverr instead of discord (you’ll pay a premium for average quality work)

@manideep_bade SO TRUEEE-"But sometimes 2AM editing sessions feel more productive than 10AM sessions"

"You’re literally killing yourself if you sleep after 11 PM"
Heard this a thousand times.
But sometimes 2AM editing sessions feel more productive than 10AM sessions.
Calling all the video editors out there!
Are you a Night Owl grinding in the silence?
Or a Morning Person riding that sunrise focus?

Re-edited hook for YT/@dbalemon
There is so much value in her videos, but there is a lot of space for editing.
What did I improve?
1️⃣Color correction to enhance the storytelling potential
2️⃣Clear visuals that matches her message
3️⃣Sound design to match the vibe of the video
4⃣ Engaging captions
