Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, son of Nigeria’s late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has recorded a crushing victory in the APC primary election for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency seat.

Some Nigerians are very funny people, once they admire a celebrity, they cannot see any wrong that the person does.
VDM has done a lot with his activism, community service and online advocacy, but at his core he is still an "Illiterate"
An egotistical, narcissistic grossly uniformed and jealous illiterate with a bad case of Superiority Complex with Grandiosity.
The number one evidence of his illiteracy is his proud proclamation that he doesn't do politics and he is not partisan.
Only an Illiterate who doesn't understand how society and democracy work, will make such a statement and be proud about it.
No matter how much fame and money you acquire, the lack of proper early childhood education, lack of exposure and the effects of growing up in poverty will still show.
It's not his fault that he grew up in those conditions, but as a grown up, it is your duty to introspect and correct or mitigate the flaws that a faulty background has put in you.
He has failed to do that, and has become the man who knows everything and is never wrong.
He has become the man who will attack and pull down anyone including those who are doing good as long as they don't do it the way he likes.
That man will eventually be hated by everyone.

To our friends in the international community,
Many of you may not fully understand what is currently happening in Nigeria, but what is being done to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai should worry anyone who believes in democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.
Without an iota of doubt Mallam El-Rufai was one of the key political figures who helped significantly and brought President Bola Tinubu to power in 2023. But shortly after this government came into office, political differences emerged, and ever since then, the machinery of the state appears to have been turned against him.
For years, they have investigated him and virtually everyone associated with him from 1999 till date. Yet after all these investigations, they still detained him for 40 days without charges. Forty days. No formal accusation, no trial, nothing.
When public pressure mounted, they eventually filed charges many Nigerians consider weak and politically motivated, and despite the fact that he voluntarily returned from abroad to face the case and prove his innocence, he was repeatedly denied bail while the case suffered endless adjournments.
The cruelty became even more painful when he was denied the opportunity to say goodbye to his dying mother. Imagine that. A son unable to see his biological mother one last time before death because of politics and abuse of power.
Now, He is being denied food and proper medical care in detention. I believe this goes beyond political persecution into something far darker and more dangerous. You cannot deny a 64 year old man food and medical attention unless the intention is to destroy him.
Sadly, many Nigerians no longer have confidence that the courts can independently protect citizens in politically sensitive cases. Institutions that should act as safeguards increasingly appear compromised or intimidated.
We are calling on human rights organizations, democratic institutions, foreign observers, and all people of conscience to pay attention to what is happening in Nigeria. Silence in moments like this only emboldens abuse.
Today it is Nasir El-Rufai. Tomorrow it could be anyone who disagrees with those in power.

@IU_Wakilii Wire tapping NSA phone line is a grave crime I must confess.

You kept a man without any reason for 40 days without any charges.
You later brought very pathetic charges against him after 40 days.
You kept him, denied him his right to bail for another 50 days, and kept adjourning his case.
All this because you are hoping to break him and make him negotiate with you, and now you realize that you can break him, you are denying him food and medical care...
I think the next step is to unleash thallium sulfate, right?

I Used To Go To Villa After I Was Fired As SGF;Buhari Hated To See Me Put On Visitor Tag There - Lawal
Babachir Lawal has stated that he still had a close relationship with Muhammadu Buhari even after he was removed from office as Secretary to the Government of the Federation
In a video shared by Channels Television, Lawal said when he was sacked as SGF he returned his Official Villa access pass. He said whenever Buhari invited him to the Villa, he had to get visitor's tag at the gate of the Villa and wear it to see Buhari.
Lawal said Buhari hated seeing him wear visitor's tag. He said one day Buhari angrily instructed security officials at the Villa to restore his access pass
In Lawal's words: "I remember when I was removed as SGF, I still had access to the Villa, I go to the Villa. And I handed over my pass which allowed me access everywhere. So now when Buhari phones me and says, 'Come let us gist, let us gossip' I will say, 'I am coming sir'. When I go to the gate they will give me that piece of paper (tag). Buhari hated to see that thing on me, he said, 'What is that you are wearing?'"

Hadiza, I admire you deeply and won’t hide that my heart feels something special for you. I’m already married, and I respect my home, but if you would ever consider being part of my life as a second wife, I would cherish you. I believe in honesty, so I’ll also say that I’d need you to be willing to support and invest in what we build together. @AdizatouGabon
