Division 1 is now oversubscribed and suspended there are a few places left in Division 2 and 3. Looking for a full event and great racing as last year. Closing of entries is planned f April 2nd but if full we will close it earlier. Please complete your entries payments before.

Abingdon Head 2026 - Entries are open on BROE2 As last year, Abingdon Spring Head as closing event of BR Head season is on Sunday 12th April. Head race will be run from the Abingdon RC club grounds in collaboration with Army Rowing Club and Abingdon Sailing Club

Abingdon Head 2025! After 30 years moving the Head back to the club, it will be run from Wilsham road Abingdon Rowing Club, Army Rowing Club and Sailing. With limited entries number we are largely oversubscribed. Entries are now closed, but will refund any scratch.

We regret to announce that Abingdon Spring Head is cancelled. Due to persistent wet weather over the last two months, the field we use for trailers & boating is water-logged and will not drain in time for the Head. For those that have already registered, more info to follow.
