Nigel Cabourn made a wonderful version many years ago, which came with a rope cinch. Very off-beat workwear. Lemaire has a more contemporary version. Most people will look best in Gloverall's Monty (get the long version, not short). Take your regular size. Looks best big.

Dig the duffle coats on the US Team. The rope toggles harken back to the original military design when the Allies fought fascists. Manufacturers such as Gloverall later switched to leather after the war to make the civilian versions feel more "upscale."

@rabernat It is doable though because all the telemetry and other L0 data is archived for both the Landsat and Sentinel-2 constellations!

@rabernat Honestly, a hierarchical discrete global grid would be far more suitable for interoperability. However, to do it right, someone would have to take the L1B level data in sensor geometry and redo the ortho-rectification.

As I dive deeper into the world of terrestrial remote sensing, I feel increasingly surprised that most modern global satellite datasets use the UTM grid, a system designed during WWII to help with military navigation. Is this really the best choice? 🧐 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal…
