Showing up continues to be an underrated skill. Yesterday I went to my native and met one of my peripa's, he should be around 60 by now, a proud farmer. We were having a conversation what typical Tamils would have.(nalam visarichitu, oor kathai pesitu 😂) He had a very limited education. Knows to write and speak Tamil. Few minutes later, he shared me something surprising. He said he took part in an essay writing competition organised by the central govt and won the first place in the farmers category, from the Erode district and soon will be receiving the cash price from the governor at Chennai. That was something huge and we never expected to hear from him. Probably might have used the help of his family members or maybe even AI too. Don't mistake me here. I'm not jealous while writing this. I'm super happy and proud for it. But without showing up none of this would've happened, making the skill underrated.

But why?! The internet started with usernames. Privacy being a genuine reason to bring it into messengers why does it have to go? The government has sent notice to WhatsApp, later Signal and Telegram regarding the same. I don't think the government has sent one to Arattai. There isn't any kind of law or rule for messenger apps to operate without usernames yet. No law exists, so what are you actually complying with? Have been a paid user of zoho's mail hosting and storage just to support a company from my own land. Regretting it.

We will be disabling the user name based account feature in Arattai, to comply with the regulatory change. Thank you 🙏

Overall it was a 4/10 cause of - inconsistencies - poorest time management - doom scrolling like never before H2 wrapped will compensate and make it worthy
