Head Coach Stephen Stephens has reignited energy in the Panthers program, bringing both excitement and exposure to his players. Leading the charge is do-it-all playmaker Amir Parks-Brooks, a true Swiss army knife who can line up in the backfield or out wide. His dynamic play has already drawn Division I attention, including an offer from Western Kentucky. He’ll be joined by another explosive athlete, Trey Finney, a young speedster with multiple D1 offers who’s poised to be a Friday night game-changer. At quarterback, Noah Carrasco returns with a full year of experience in the system, ready to lead the offensive unit with poise and confidence. He’ll have plenty of weapons at his disposal, including reliable targets Andrew Kirklin and Mason Brown. On the defensive side, the Panthers have a strong core in the box with Marcos Solais, Asiah Peavy, Collin Williams, and Amuri Sikes anchoring the interior. In the secondary, look for Dre Gordon-Brown to lead a solid and athletic group that’s capable of making plays. With at least four players already holding Division I offers, there’s no question that the talent is there. The real question: can the Panthers put it all together and make a serious run at the district title? Time will tell, but don’t be surprised if St. Pius is back in the mix come playoff time.
